
M. Night Shyamalan wraps up shooting his upcoming film “Old” in the DR
M. Night Shyamalan just wrapped principal photography for his new thriller “Old” in the Dominican Republic. Shooting began in late September, and the production marked the first time the acclaimed director filmed entirely outside of his home city of Philadelphia. Shortly after completing production, the “Sixth Sense” filmmaker took to Twitter to share his experience of filming in the Dominican Republic:

Night worked with a mostly Dominican crew, and only brought with him 40 U.S crew members and 20 cast members. The film’s cast includes Gael Garcia Bernal, Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Vicky Krieps, Abbey Lee, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Ken Leung, Rufus Sewell, Embeth Davidtz and Emun Elliott. It is set to be released July 23, 2021.
